Hello, I’m Sam Gore…

A Reluctant Agent Who Smashed Records

I most certainly didn’t set out to be an estate agent. Growing up in London, real estate wasn’t remotely on my radar. After studying languages at university (as a convenient excuse to live abroad), I hopped between sunny climes—Australia, New Zealand, South Africa—selling nothing but my personality to land dream jobs and make connections as a solo traveller.

By 24, I’d settled in Spain with a patchwork of poorly paid jobs until, in 2003, a startup real estate company hired me as a receptionist. A week in, my managers—convinced I had “it”—ordered me to cover for the telesales girl on holiday. To my horror (telesales for a used car magazine in my youth had not sold me on the idea of ever doing it again!), I picked up the phone, and to their complete expectation (though still a shock to me), I sold an off-plan apartment, site-unseen, on my very first call.

One site-unseen sale turned into many, and before long, I was outpacing the actual sales team. Which didn’t go down too well with them but what-you-gonna-do? The rest, as they say, is history.

What makes a top agent? It’s not passion for property—trust me, I’ve seen plenty of “property lovers” burn out. The key is a passion for people. Understand what drives them, build trust, and deliver more than expected. Do that, and you’re golden.

In my 22+ years, I’ve sold everything from golf resort plots to luxury villas, off-plan developments to student housing. I’ve worked across the UK, Europe, and South America, setting up businesses, leading teams, and earning a reputation for building long-term success through referrals—not shortcuts.

Why I Do This

Real estate can be a very tough gig. Shockingly, eighty percent of agents leave the industry within a year, usually feeling unsupported and overwhelmed. That’s unacceptable. My mission is to change the way agents work—helping them build confidence, skills, and businesses they’re proud of.

My Vision

I want to change the world of real estate—for the better. Too often, estate agents are thrown into a cutthroat industry with little to no training and left to figure things out alone. Sink or swim. Those entrusted with their training, naturally, are focused on earning their own commission. The 80% churn rate is a terrible waste of talent that needs to stop. 

I have proven that with the right training and support, agents can bypass unnecessary struggles, gain confidence in themselves and their abilities, and thrive in a way that’s sustainable and rewarding.

My goal is to transform how agents work, helping them achieve lasting success and proving that real estate doesn’t have to be a relentless grind—it can be an empowering and fulfilling career.
